You must be a passport holder of one of these accepted ETA countries.
You must have a valid passport.
You cannot have a criminal record.
You must be in good health.
The maximum length of each visit is three months.
You must be outside Australia when you apply for an ETA.
The ETA Visa is valid for visits to Australia for tourism or to visit friends or relatives.
You may not work while in Australia.
You may make multiple entries into Australia within the 12 month period.
If your passport expires within the 12 months, then you must get a new ETA Visa when you get your new passport.
You must not get an ETA Visa if you are a student studying for longer than 3 months, you must apply for a student visa
You should note that you must not overstay your visit to Australia, that is, you must depart Australia before your authorised stay period expires. If you do not, Australian law requires that you be detained and/or removed from Australia.
Overstaying may also affect your ability to acquire another Australian visa, including an ETA, in the future. Where exceptional circumstances arise while you are in Australia, on an ETA, that require you to stay longer than three months, you must obtain another visa from an Australian visa office in Australia before the end of the three month visit period.
BUSINESS ETA VISA CONDITIONS
You cannot have a criminal record.

The ETA Visa is valid for multiple visits within 12 months from date of issue.
If your passport expires within the 12 months, then you must get a new ETA Visa when you get your new passport.
The ETA Visa is valid for visits to Australia for business meetings, conventions, conferences or a short term project requiring a high level of skill.
This does not include being employed by a company while you are in Australia.
You may not work for payment for any Australian company while in Australia.
